Usually a 150-200 dollar bettor. He dropped 500 on first five and full game at +150. Does anyone know if any touts are on them extra big today? He says the Cubs are tired. Not sure I believe that , as brewers are traveling to CHC were they have been home for 3 days.

Have not seen any. Most are 50/50 or worse anyway. Does he follow services from time-to-time? Personally would not mind booking the Cubs today. Last gasp before All Star break with first place Brew Crew at Wrigley. Cubs take this one and 2 of 3 vs. Pittsburgh to end strongish. Good luck.

Cheers!

destruction

I've heard some major grumblings for the past 6 wks from other MLB front offices on the Cubs and how the players are revolting against Maddon. Two different teams that visited Wrigley have told me that.

Any word what they are revolting against? Did his ego grow after last year? He has always been a players manager.

Nice call on his part but $500 is a "BOMB?"

500 may very well not be a lot to you or some others but I think the point op was trying to make was that his player placed an unusual wager - something more significant than his normal betting pattern thus warranting a post.

Some people like to make a pissing match out of everything.. obviously he's trying to imply that $500 is nothing to him...

Obviously, by your reply, you are *NOT* one of the "grown folks" and your grammar rivals that of a 8 year old. So, whenever you can reply like an adult, we'll treat your responses as if they came from an adult you southern r*dn*ck! Now, go back to picking corn out of your mouth and leave the sports betting to us city folk.

I don't know if you know this.. but let me inform you about something. It's quite difficult to interpret what somebody is saying through text if they are not explicit. When reading something online, it's drastically different from speaking to somebody, be it on the phone or in person. There are a lack of cues when talking by text such as tone of voice, facial expressions and general body language. So the next time you intend to make a joke, try adding a simple "ha-ha" or "lol" at the end of your sentences. We aren't mind readers.

that he takes the spotlight, that they won the WS in spite of his woeful managing in the WS and just an overall disgruntlement with his style. The recent rebellion against road trip attire themes was brought up. I guess they finally gave in and half-assed the 70's road trip clothing for the Cali trip and they went 0-6 vs LA and San Diego.

I'd dismiss it but it seems like something is clearly up with this team and one front office guy checked in with his counter parts at Wrigley to follow up, and they were told it has not improved.

The Cubs problem is they don't fight nearly as hard as the posters in this thread!
