Went threw a drive-thru today and when I drove up to the window to pay and get my food 3 employees were standing there looking at me smiling. I was like what's going on here? They said the guy in front of me paid for my food. I said why? Lol. I'll pay it forward and pay for someone else in a drive-thru next time I go. Pretty cool.

I was once in one of those chains, thought it was very cool to do. Not sure how long it lasted, but the cashier said it had started 15 minutes before me.

One could potentially scam this system. Go to a drive through with a buddy in another car. Get in the drive through lane, and let a car get in between you.

First car pays it forward for the stranger behind you. Then if he repays the favor, 3rd car order a shitload of food and not pay it forward.

Yeah and you could eliminate all risk of paying for a shitload of food you didn't want to pay for yourself. If the car In front of you didn't pay for the shitload of food just tell them you forgot your wallet. Sorry
