The new line opened for about 10 minutes and closed at -210.
I wouldn't bet at that price anyways, not a big deal then.

Somebody or bodies are hitting themselves with stupid sticks about now if they jumped on any part of that. Pitching change isn't gonna make a damn difference on the outcome of this one, it's all on Lester.

LOL, you missed the jest of my post friend. And just to clear the record, I have never bet any damn game -210.....on the RL to get a reasonable number if I thought it would win, yes. I don't care what the line in that game was, it's immaterial because the outcome was decided by Lester in the first, that was my point. Take the shades off so you can read a little more clear.

The result(long term) is the only consequence of your job.
Gambling all the time Lester vs the Pirates -156 you could make money. (In fact the line closed to -179)
Gambling all the time Lester vs the Pirates -210 you will lose money.
Today Red Sox@Rays was Even/Even and to me it was the correct line... if you give me the Red Sox +120 I gamble the Red Sox, if you give me insted the Rays +120 I gamble the Rays.
Gambling is only numbers, the rest is just bullshit.

You could win/lose a game for a bad day of the pitcher, error, home run, one hit.. etc.
You won't win/lose 100 games for the same thing.
1 game means 0, 100 games means something.
So, if Lester today is 10 ERA or is throwing the perfect game, not up to me... my job is different.

If we are only considering the result, when the other team scores 14 runs... you likely lose 99.99% of the times...

But, according that we know the result at least 3h after placing our money, the only thing that really matters is the line.
