Trying to promote Boxing & MMA, but in the end it's just One Big Fuking Joke

They probably go for a few drinks after each Road Show they put on.
Sad thing is they will be laughing all the way to the bank.

I think you are right and wrong.

The fight will be real IMO.

The road show is just scripted BS.

I think they both respect each other, I think they are both very similar, great fighters who are also great business men and self promoters. While I'm sure they both love their sports, I don't think that either would deny they are out to make the most money possible.

I don't think there is any real animosity towards one another at all, so I have little doubt they would go out together after words. All the legit trash talk is just playful stuff they are trying to make sound serious.

All this pre-fight BS is right out of the UFC's playbook. Every fight the last 10 years the guys act like they hate each other, Dana White always has to "hold them back" at the press conferences. Then they hug after the fight. It's really quite silly.

All that being said the fight will be legit. These guys are real fighters , not Manute Bol vs Fridge Perry. Just like in the UFC where almost all the guys know each other and are friends, they will go at it 100% when in the ring. Then be friends after, nothing wrong with that.

Have not watched a live boxing match in over a decade or 2. Back in the day you had fighters like Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Durant, Tyson, etc. When I want to see a good fight I will you tube a match like the 3 round Hagler/ Hearns battle. Would not pay a dime for this Mayweather fight.
