I just called up Directv and asked if they had any specials on NFL ST, they offered me a 1 time payment of $99.96 or 4 of $24.99, which was too good to pass up. It automatically renews next year, but I have the option to cancel before the season starts. If you're wanting NFL ST, now would be a good time to call, normal cost is $62.99 a month for 6 months.
Max is streaming on devices too. They used to distinguish between the reg ticket and max. I think it's all "max" these days anyway, but they kept the moniker.
If you are off-contract with DTV you should be able to get sunday ticket "max" completely free + $50 off your base for 12 months with each new 12 month commitment.
Then do it all over again the next year. That's what I've been doing. My bill is like $69/month with free sunday ticket.
Downside is you have to call each year and tell them you are going to disconnect, which is kind of a roll of the dice.
