Ya know what's funny......I've never been to a "cashier window" in Vegas. The $$ just shows up in an account I have. Could that be the reason for lack of a line? Hmmmmmm, Enquiring minds want to know. GL

In gambling if you don't bet at least to 102% (-102/-102) your odds to make money in the long term are like 0, probably less.
Pinnaclesports, CG(Ex Cantor), Westgate and Betfair(This is a betting exchange and not for Baseball) are the only companies world-wide where you can challenge them professionally and make real money if you are good.
Of course there are other decent bookies(Bet365, 5Dimes and co.), but the only way to beat them is betting on early market and their limitations for people that bet a lot of money and mostly winners really suck.
People can keep gambling with locals or in Costa Rica or Billions of Dollars in Asia(Biggest private market in the world), with lines like -110/-110 or -105/-105 if lucky... but in my opinion in the long term the truth will come out, in fact only a fool would think to be able to make money gambling -110/-110 and you gonna have more troubles than money for sure.
I've never gambled a single dime illegally and I'll keep this way, because I know I can beat them.

I've worked about 10 years with the UK Sports book leader on the risk for Baseball, we were making odds to the 110% and the % of losing players gambling on a daily basis on baseball were about 98.74% during a whole season... just guess...

Being Canadian, I had access to all those books and exchanges till a couple of them decided not to service Canadians. Now, I go through a broker. When you are used to those lines (3% takeout or less) it is very hard to bet into 10% takeout lines.

I'm here in Vegas this week for a conference looking at the lines in the sportsbooks. I would never move here to bet on sports.

There are a few articles on the web looking at takeout % and how it impacts your win %. Being a math guy, I found it interesting.

I wasn't trying to be "cute," just an observation. I stay at the MGM Grand when in Vegas and that's where I like to play BlackJack. This may come across as a bold statement, but I've never lost $$ in Vegas, I'm pretty damn good at playing cards. Have I lost money in the sports book, damn straight I have, lol. I've never concerned myself with the legalities of who/where/what/how I wager, if my pilot won't land in a locale, I can't gamble there, lol. Again, gl with the action.

I'm not talking about cards, I know nothing about that.
All I know is that a lot of people play poker at the Venetian and the Wynn has very high limits cards table.

Sorry, the jest of my point was that cards bail my ass out when the sports book is winning. Only do the SB and MM for sports, funny that I think of it now, but I've never gone into the book when I'm out there for other occasions. I take my laptop and just bet online, LOL. GL with the action, appears we have the other side.
