Have you ever gone to Great Clips and been told you'll have to wait for the online reservations to show up but nobody is there?

I go in today and no customers are waiting in the lobby and around 2-3 stylists are standing around. The lady tells me I'll have to wait 20 minutes for the people that made online reservations to show up. I look around and tell her they aren't there, I'm there and stylists are ready so why can't I get a cut?

She says that's the policy so I walked out.

Has anyone ever seen this? If you're there and the online reservation folks are not, shouldn't you get your hair cut?

Can't do GC,man...Had a buddy that did make a good penny off one of those Fantastic Sams places back in the day,though.

Give me an old school dapper place with straight razor shaves all day.

I only do great clips if I have a $5 coupon.

I cut my own for the most part, I'm getting pretty good at it. Use to just run a 1 all ober, but now I can taper and keep some on the top. Lol

Lol.. you guys that use GC crack me up..

Barbershops are the way to go... professional hair cutters... GC is 98% filled with idiot cosmetology whores that are too fat or ugly or new to work in good salons(of which also give shitty haircuts).

If you look around, you can find a Solid Barbershop filled with professional hair cutters..

Walked in one of those chains one day. Some Corp or area manager had dummy heads with hair teaching the girls to cut. I did a u turn. Maybe just updated training but still.....

I can understand giving appointments priority over walk-ins , but it's rediculous to hold a no show for 20 mins , 10 should be long enough.

....I also find it suspicious that there are 3 stylists and no customers waiting. Did all 3 stylists have appointments within the next 20-30 mins ? I would have walked out too.

This isn't the issue. I didn't make an online appointment. I walked in and there weren't any customers waiting for a haircut. There were three stylists there ready to cut hair and I was ready to pay them.

The issue is the lady telling me I'd have to wait 20 minutes for online customers to arrive when they aren't even there.
