10 people put up 10% of entry + proxy
everyone draws a number 1-10
numbers 1-5 make picks week 1
if you win, well done, pick again
if you lose, back of the line and first up is 6, 7, etc
everyone takes equal share of any winnings (could consider bonus for best record on squad)

would be fun and fairly modest investment for a season of forum team building haaa

thoughts? interest?

Sure, if you're the point person D Noonan. You're a solid guy.

True dat.

Thanks guys. Would love to have you guys on board if we can pull it off. I will prob be here for another ~3 weeks to sign up a team if so. I recognize that not everyone knows me all that well, so was thinking I could type up and sign a legal letter for everyone on the team just to make sure folks can be comfortable that they will get the $ when we win!

Need a catchy name....

for guys who are interested, let us know if you would be interested in going for GOLD (higher entry but much smaller field, no takeout, winner take all) or if you would prefer to enter the regular supercontest? and toss out names if you got em!

id rather do the regular contest. winner take all is great with less contests but if we hit 70% to win gold then wed win the regular one anyway

I half think the winner of gold wouldn't even cash in the regular contest.

50-53 pts. might win the Gold Contest, will they even get 100 entries?

I'll check but it didn't seem like they would get there. I agree with shdw01 that you could easily see the winner (1 of 50 for example) be outside the money of the field of potentially 2000

Golden Nugget's contest has never gotten over 100 entries and its just $2000. "Apples & Oranges", yeah compared to Nugget's Contest being: NFL side and totals, NCAA sides (NCAA totals dropped) and compared to Westgate's "Brand Recognition" superiority, mentions on ESPN and other major media that The Nugget does not benefit from...."just sayin"....words plagarized from Dave Tuley lol.

There's a core of Vegas locals/SC regulars that will enter, but I agree getting to 100 will be a challenge."
