One of the main things that keeps people coming back to this site is the poster originated contest.

The fantasy football contest . The survivor contest .

etc.....

Now I'm told that is no longer allowed in the offshore forum.

Whats the problem?

You don't like people visiting your site?

You don't like giving someone a reason to visit this place 17 weeks a year?

These self started poster originated contest is no threats to your sponsors , that's if you even still have any.

Its just another retarded move by the owners of this place.

I was planning on visiting this site everyday this football season for fantasy football and strike pools .

Now I see no reason whatsoever to do so.

And if you think these contest hurts the participation from the forum sponsored contest you would be wrong .

I believe that virtually every single player in the $500 fantasy league from last season also played in the Hilton contest .

Same can be said of other contest.

Just plain dumb.
Im not blaming the mods for this. Don't believe it's their fault .

Anyway what a way to kill what's left of this place .

I know for me it was about the only reason I still visited.

i only have about 100 post
in the last 6 months or so.

I use to do that in 2 or 3 days.

If you look i spoke to bas about this, your still allowed to promote in the offshore, but once its filled you move down to the contest sub forum

I'm not a betting man. But if I was, I'd bet it has to do with risk management and making sure they are considered and information site and not a platform for/actively promoting gambling transactions.

Sorry man they are just as legally liable with this new rule as the old rule.

Just because posters originate a fantasy league in a different section of the website does not make that issue go away.

So now the offshore is dominated by someone who can't type English , and the other poster that has a training camp thread with 453 post and 452 of those post are from the thread starter .

Maybe the reason this is happening now is because the site is shrinking so rapidly that it just isn't worth the risk for them to have so much $ exchanging hands between posters and it being a gambling site. They just know it's basically over.

Whereas when the site was still making them a little $ it was a little more tolerable and something that you would try to encourage to get people here.

But that's just a guess.

Would be interesting to know why Admin would remove Voluntarily a Sticky At Top for RX Contests NFL & College Football, remove what in essence was their very best Billboard that woiuld see: Most Views, Largest Amount of Eyeballs on that. 'Shocking Decision' a real Understatement. 'Puzzling Decision' also a massive understatement.
