Coming off a winner yesterday to bring my YTD to 3-4 -5.2

Usually don't play heavy road favorites, but the Cubs are in a good spot tonight. Arrieta, although fairly pedestrian this season, has been pitching well lately. He goes against Matt Moore who is, well, awful. Moore has the 23rd worst WHIP in MLB and a 5.80 ERA (v Arrieta 3.88), but the bigger liability for him tonight will be his 41st worst xfip and a 16 MPH wind blowing out to center.

If the wind was really a critical factor for you betting this you should probably bet out of your wager. 16 mph wind is totally normal if not low for games at ATT. However, the stadium was built in a way that basically eliminates the wind as any kind of factor

Average annual wind speed at ATT park is 10MPH, so 16 is above average. You are correct that the stadium was built in a way to alleviate wind speeds, however if you've ever been on the outfield wall you'll notice wind still blows through that park. Also, when your xfip is above 5 and your k/9 is under 9, you're not getting enough ground ball outs as a pitcher. Just a small amount of wind can be a killer for a pitcher like that... As for critical numbers, It also doesn't hurt that the Cubs are 18-7 v left handed starters and Moore has a .293 BA/A..GL on any action you have tonight :toast:

Cubs a winner on Monday night dbanana0-9

no play on Tuesday, however I can tell you that every swingin Johnson in the book was loading up on the reds and the Cubs get another left handed starter tonight (19-7 v LH starters)
