They almost got my wife ...

posting photos and not posting their location ( only through PM )
Wife started with where are you located , and what's Available ?

They come back and ask Her, where are you located ?

1st Strike, IMO

a little back and forth, she asks How much ?
They say there is a $150 deposit, payable only by WU or Money gram

2nd Strike

She asks, No PP ?

their answer, No, but they would take Bitcoin

3rd Strike, you're Out !

Anyone that buys a cat or dog is an IDIOT. It promotes puppy mills and shitty treatment of animals.

Just rescue one from a shelter or free on craigslist. There is no other good answer.

We usually do the shelter, we have the Largest in the country , north shore animal league.
And we still plan on getting one there.

But she is looking to Also replace a Pure breed cat that we lost

Reminds me of this - not a scam - happened in my town several years ago. Here's a link but the TLDR version is some people agreed to meet here in town to exchange some dogs that were purchased on Facebook. Parties involved agreed to "meet under the Taco Bell sign off I-80". Sign blew down in a windstorm right on top of one of the vehicles waiting and killed the driver.

This.

SO many people don't realize how many dogs, cats and other would be pets get down.

Clowns overpay for pets and breeders breed them like crazy when there are so many waiting for a home out there. Breeders also discard those that come out some what imperfect (don't means deformity...i am talking about unpopular color and shit like that.)

5 Years ago was out to dinner and to many cocktails w/ the wife and kids in Ft Myers.

They all talked me into buying a Purebred Shih Tzu.

They went online ( face book) and found the dog.

The next day the 3 of them drove down to Naples Fl where the lady lived and got the dog.

The wife said the lady had a very clean and organized operation.
