I grew up in a house where my dad worked 40-60 hrs a week in an office job. I never really learned much when it came to being handy. I do the simple stuff, mow the yard paint a wall etc. But when it comes to installing new lighting, cutting electrical wires, replacing faucets, or working on attic fans. I just make a phone call to get it done quick and correct

There's 2 things I have never done, will never have interest in doing, and will gladly pay someone else to do.

Don't mess with electric, as you can burn your house down, and kill everyone.
And don't mess with plumbing, as you can flood the house, short out the wiring and kill everyone.

Nope. Can't be great at everything, has nothing to do with being masculine. Some things are better left to the pros.

I also don't feel less manly when I cook a good meal.

Boo gender roles.

Do you mess with changing a light bulb or you afraid you might break a nail?

changing a light bulb is about as much as I can do. Honestly I can get a few things done, but in the long run I'm better off paying someone that knows what they are doing to do it right.

I am so brutal, I did try and renovate my daughter's room. Everything was going great and drywall up etc. Only thing I had to do was paint the walls (pink of course). Well I fell off of the ladder and the paint came down on me. Pink paint all over the floor and of course me.
