Rather than putting pressure on the businesspeople of the Manufacturing Council & Strategy & Policy Forum, I am ending both. Thank you all!

The sooner Trump stops getting involved in the crisis of the moment
and stops concerning himself with what the media and his detractors
have to say the better.

He should concentrate on whipping McConnell and Ryan into shape so
he can move forward with his agenda.

Instead of having the optics of all of them quitting first, he fired them. This is a PR mess for the WH.

Trump saved America by defeating HRC. Let the world be thankful for that. HRC was a greater threat to America than China Russia Iran North Korea combined.

I don't remember Calvin Coolidge having a manufacturing council.

Why have one to begin with? Especially if many of these corporations are already beneficiaries of corporate welfare.

Capitalism is not the same as corporatism.

The bog corporations are all globalists. They are NOT America Firsters.

Trump should populate the same council with owners from the small business community. They are much more likely to be in sync with Trump's message and efforts for the American worker.

Unfortunately, very true.

Don't forget, these same global corporate whores ("Made in China") opposed Trump's common sense merit-based immigration plan AND his withdrawal from the Paris climate fraud accord. :ohno:

This fake news "neo-Nazi" BS narrative just gave them a convenient way out.

heh....little donnie spurts out his tweet after they announce their mutual resignations. Pretty much like a 10 year old cancelling his birthday party after learning everyone invited RSVP'd "Hell No!"

Okey doke....Will now add "big corporations" to the Enemies List. Should they be ranked above or behind MainstreamMedia, Democrats and John McCain?

Nobody called Big Corporations "the enemy" except you.

Well you insisted they are not America Firsters.....I am only concerned with properly aligning The Pecking Order

The CEOs of corporate America made some resounding statements today about Trump's moral failure. So did Bush 41 and 43, as well as 5 of the joint chiefs of staff. It isn't just the 'fake news' now that's turning on him.

Watching General John Kelly's body language yesterday was quite revealing.

I bet he's a man who has rarely felt shame in his life but yesterday looked quite ashamed to be sharing the stage with little donnie

Bar I think we are witnessing the beginning of the collapse of Trump's presidency. But I fear I won't like the person that comes next in 2020 nearly as much as you.

"It would be great if they (all republicans) had that moral fortitude, but I think it is enough to say that there is no moral equivalence between neo-Nazis and those who would condemn them.
I thought what Richard was saying earlier was interesting, that business leaders were having to walk a fine line. I don't think it's a fine line. I think, actually, on this issue, it's a really easy decision. Donald Trump is on an island of his own.
This issue was settled 70 years ago by a global community. There's no one say (ph) for neo-Nazis themselves who defend neo-Nazis. So whether it's Republicans in leadership, business leaders, name another group, it's not a difficult thing to go out and say, and I don't see this equivalence." ~ S.E. Cupp

Scott, I confess I have no idea what 2020 will produce.

My fellow Dems here in Florida pretty quiet about it as are most national leaders.

There is a modicum of blah blah chat suggesting Hillary reruns, or maybe Warner or for fuck's sake Bernie.

I am reasonably confident they are done, but if Dems attempt any of the above three in 2020, GOP will cruise....but with who, I do not know.
