Smoking Hotels?

Are there any HOTELS that still allow smoking? Just went to book a few nights at an IHG property (Holiday Inn Express) and found out they do not offer smoking rooms at any of their hotels anymore. (despite the fact that when you choose smoking in your filter search and rooms come up). I refuse to go to a MOTEL, or Super 8 or something like that. Any non "hourly" type hotels still offer smoking? Thanks in advance. :smoking:

Depends on where you are in the country.

You can still find major hotels down south that have smoking rooms.

Even when I smoked I got non-smoking rooms. The smoking rooms STANK. JMO

yes taking a trip to southern us (carolinas area) and can find NO major hotel chains that offer smoking (again not including Motel 6, Super 8 etc)

Have you tried La Quinta? Pretty sure I stayed at an LQ in the carolinas in a smoking room not too long ago.

Candlewood's are reasonably nice, I stay there sometimes.

These days best to shop not for Smoking Rooms, but rather for rooms with a balcony/backside porch.

I'm in a Quality Inn in the Carolinas right now and they have smoking rooms.

Outside of Charleston. Quality,lol,no,buts it's clean enough,has a free breakfast,and I'm trying to pocket as much of my per diem as possible,so it works...

sucks for me and honestly it's not the cigs that are that important to me, it's the flower. Like to get nice room, lock myself in it with Wifey and smoke away and do husband and Wife stuff.
