Some of yous guys do the solo movie thing...but I think I'm quickly approaching the dgaf age.
Long story short...somewhat popular band (that I'm a big fan of) on a Wednesday night and all the reviews of the venue say you can't see shit if you are under 6'2" and it's a cluster as they consistently oversell the venue by like 1000 tickets.
No seating.
My wife is like 5' on the dot and would probably hate it. And...I'm past that age of going with buddies to concerts unless wives are in.
Thinking I'm doing this. Stay out of my way.

Never went to a concert alone, but someone I know does it all the time.
He says you get the Best seats that way because there are plenty of single seats.

Never went to a concert alone. Usually it's been a date thing. Other times with a few buddies.

you can't really get in the mindset to go alone until you just don't care. and you should really like the band

Never a concert but when traveling for work I've gone to a movie by myself. I felt really weird about it at first but once I sit down that fades away.

It better to go alone you're there to see and enjoy the show not talk to friends

I used to travel alot for work and have hit shows solo. If it's a band that I like in a city I wind up in, I'm going to sit in my hotel because I got no one to go with? Doubt it. Metallica, Van Halen, Rush, Robert Plant, Jeff Healey off the top of my head. Never had a problem finding people to hang with before the show and always cheap great single tix from scalpers, too.

I go to a ton of shows..99% solo. Not really by choice but doing shit solo is many times easier then in company imo.

If you've never been to a good concert, then you've never been to an AC/DC concert...I ..cause then you'd be on the HiWay to Hell.

Wasn't overly impressed by u2 and everyone raves about them live. Best show I've seen this year was phish in Pittsburgh. Incredible. Saw black Joe Lewis also this summer and he was great. Seeing him again next month

Saw U2 as a follow up to RATM in 1997ish at the Cotton Bowl.
Lol. They dropped out of that ridiculous lemon.
Rage put U2 in a body bag.
