1st Round: Lajovic -------------------------- Rafa win

2nd Round: Daniel/Paul --------------------- Paul could take him out. Daniel has no chance.

3rd Round: Sugita/Mayer/Gasqt ----------- Only Sugita would have a chance. Mayer/Gasquet both chokers

4th Round: Fognini/Dolgo/Berdych -------- Any of these could beat Nadal, but not strong candidates.

5th Round: Loses here as a member of the final 8, if he gets that far.

Semis......: Auto Loss

Final........: Auto Loss

well it is definitely a depleted field. No Nole, Murray, Wawrinka, Raonic

the top half of the men's draw is LOADED.

in the top half are;
Old Man- at 36 he's the fav. Crazy. He skipped Cinci, a smart move imo. Didn't look great at Montreal. By his own admission was adjusting to HC following Wimbledon. Lost in the finals to that rising star Zverev kid
Kyrgios- blew Nadal off the court at Cinci in straights. On his day can beat anybody on a fast service. I don't trust between the ears. In form , just reached the finals at Cinci
Nadal- a disturbing loss to Shapovalov at Montreal (that kid can damn play!) , then the early exit at Cinci. Hasn't reached the qtrs at Flushing in 4 yrs. And yet another early exit at Wimbledon earlier. Fading in the 2nd half?
Del Potro
Thiem
Dimitrov- just won Cinci. Has a potential date with Rafa in the qtrs. A repeat of their spectacular AO match?
Berdych

Bottom half; someone has to win it........:). Wipe open

Zverev- has a DREAM DRAW. Gagged at RG, to gag at Flushing? Took down Fed in straights at Montreal...needs a GS break out, get DEEP . He has nearly no one is his quartet ,WTF.

Cilic- a former Champion
Tsonga- in questionable form- 1st round exits at Montreal and Cinci

the bottom half is way way weaker, the oddsmakers arent a sleep;
top- -334
bottom- +240

Shapovalov is only 18. Kid can play. Was given a WC at Montreal . Proceeds to beat Del Potro, Nadal and Mannarino (he returns a lot of balls). Reached the semi's of a TMS event
