Why isn't Kap a JET?

Seems to me they can use a QB...this JET team may become another 0-16 team...wonder how many games they lose by double digits?

Because he sucks. Peter King from MMQB interviewed four NFL executives recently in need of a QB. All four of them told him (anonymously) they couldn't care less about his protest. They told King they don't think he's that good and doesn't fit an NFL system. They told him he can't read defenses.

Bottom line - He was performing for a team with a great D, great offensive line and great running game. The minute that went away, he was exposed as a sub-standard NFL QB.

Why don't people understand this?

The Jets are one of the few teams in the history of the NFL that are actually trying to finish with the worst record going into a season. With potentially at least 3 franchise QB's in next years draft it is probably the smart thing for them to do long term.

Why isn't he a jaguar? Khan said he's open to signing him. Hell he's better than Bortles and Henne and they are actually trying to win.
