Anybody else see this matchup?

Mr. Thug Life vs. Mr. Civilized Human.

No School vs. Old School

New Age Trash Can Culture vs. Old School Civilization via Brazilian Family

Covington is a great caliber wrestler. Would love to see Maia choke out Covington on the ground and his eyeballs pop out of his head.

Also, Masvidal vs. Wondersoft? Anybody else think Masvidal is going to pressure and then crumble Wonderboy? I like Wonderboy but one gets the impression he's too soft. Get the feeling Masvidal will get to Wonderboy and just crush Wonderboy like he did New Mexican Ranch Dressing.

Styles make fights and Masdival should make Thompson have to go on the attack.

He was way too content to win rds that didn't have much happen against Woodley. Masdival should be a lot more aggressive on his feet than Woodley was and the threat to be taken down won't be there for Thompson.

Be interesting to see the line on that 1, I'd guess Thompsonaround -160

Thompson -160? Man, I don't know.

One thing I do know is that my UFC picks are horrible. I would hit Masvidal -150 or better without hesitation. But speaking of ridiculous lines, what in the fuck is the GSP -160 > Bisping all about? I admit Thompson can definitely beat Masvidal, though I strongly favor Masvidal. However, in the case of GSP... that looks like BSP all fucking day.

Also can't wait for Egomaniac vs Branch. A -400 line is UFC is like a -2500 line in the NFL.

Yeah I like Bisping at +135ish too.

Given GSP's star power a decision at MSG could be tough for Bisping to get unless it is decisive. GSP might steal a few rds with takedowns but I think Bisping being the bigger guy wins a lot of the standup. He just hits way harder and Bisping's lack of defense shouldn't be too bad considering George didn't even hit hard at welterweight.

Also 4 years layoff just a long time.

Don't know much about Rockhold's opponent so no opinion really.

Dude's never been KO'd in 70+ fights, yea he's soft alright. World class striking vs street fighter mentality. Should be a great fight...

Of course these guys are all killers. No doubt. But I see Thompson the way I see Dong Hyun Kim. More brittle than a brawler.

Soft is too harsh so you are correct.

Cerrone crumbled against the pressure of Masvidal. He almost did the same thing against Lawler, but he recovered in time to not get crushed.

I want Thompson to win over Masvidal, but my money will be on Masvidal.

Never been KO'd but certainly wasn't willing to risk the possibility in 2 fights with Woodley.

Why he didn't put a mark on him in 10 rds. No guts, no glory.

He's never even been knocked down in a stand up only fight, which the Masvidal fight could easily be. Now,they'll end up on the ground.

Stephen is a range fighter at its best...

You guys carry on with your convo...

Wonderbread survived the onslaught in the first that Lawler didn't...

Personally,I think if Covington stay composed,he out wrestles Maia, and gets the W...

Just saying he tends to fight overly cautious at the highest levels. I guess if he is winning rds you can say it is on his opponent to press the action but he obviously overdid it vs Woodley and it cost him a chance to win the title. And the fight was so boring that unless he knocks a slew of guys into the 4th row, he's not getting a title shot again as long as Woodley is champ. Which may be a little while.
