Give the guy some time to get things turned around. You don't just fix things overnight. To call him a bum after one game shows how ridiculous your mindset must be to rush to judgement so fast.

Herman is a damn good coach. I take he over Strong any/every day. In case anyone watching, Charlie had 2 absolute creampuffs to open year and struggled in both.

This is exactly what they did to Strong, in inherited a program that Mack Brown drove into the ground, the program had nothing, and to only give him 3 seasons not a fair shake in my opinion and I have no dog in the fight.

My thoughts as well. He really left some very good players and studs for this new staff as well.

Herman hasn't recruited a single senior or junior or sophomore on this team, and came in after most of the best freshmen were essentially off the boards or at least leaning.

He gets to have a few seasons with his own kids.

Strong would have been given more time if his teams were at least competitive. But they were not, they were not trending up, they were trending down. Nobody expected him to be back after the way his team finished the season.

And I was a Strong supporter. No, I'm not a Texas fan
