With Hurricane Irma on a path to hit most of Florida, the FSU game has been moved up seven hours.

The game against UL-Monroe is now Saturday at noon instead of 7pm. School officials hope that this will help play the game before the weather moves in.

Other Florida sports teams are being affected by Hurricane Irma. The Dolphins vs. Buccaneers game was moved to the bye week and a bunch of Florida schools have either canceled or moved their games.

The Hurricane is predicted to make landfall in South Florida toward the end of the weekend and possibly into Monday morning. As residents prepare for the worst, sports become an after thought (as they should). It will be hard to say if any further events will be impacted by the storm until the damage is assessed, but it is possible that more cancellations and schedule changes are on the way.
