I don't know if it was a political decision; ie, things going on behind the scenes. But a fighter, a professional fighter, prepares himself likes a Spartan
for one specific event in the future. Failure to arrive at the pre-planned date with precision is an utter joke.

I saw the official release say that it was due to a viral illness. Really? Is this the same viral illness that stopped Nunes from fighting? Give me a break.

I watch UFC fighters go on and brag about how they go into fights with a broken hand or serious injuries and they gut it out. And major props to them. But Borg is stopped by a viral illness? Come on. I saw him in videos every day before the fight. Must've been the same Nunes 'lightning quick' virus that struck him down.

And a title fight no less.

Not buying it.

And my end point is this... if Borg had prepped properly, the UFC wouldn't have been forced to make the decision.

Viral illness. Right! Just like Gastelum had some viral cheeseburgers and Nunes caught some viral Aids before

Amanda was cleared to fight ... she made the decision not to.

Borg was told he could not fight ... he had no say in the decision.

To say Borg made up an illness / wasn't prepared / threw away this huge opportunity is beyond stupid. This was probably the only shot he would ever have at a title and he knew that. IMO there is ZERO chance this fight gets rebooked ... DJ was -1100 and no one cared about it anyway.

Borg looked perfectly fine to me in interviews and videos in the last few days. Not buying it. But that's understandable. All of a sudden he suddenly
comes down with Aids and can't fight the biggest fight in his life..... Yep, perfectly logical.

Just because a person looks physically well means absolutely nothing.

Please explain why it would be of any interest whatsoever for the UFC to call off a main event for no real reason ... especially when this trend has become a major problem for the company as of late / hurting the sport / pissing off fans, ticket buyers.
