The only team that impressed me was K.C. Totally prepared.

The Steelers and Falcons were lucky to get wins on the road
at 2 not very good teams.

After 1 game T.J. Watt looks worthy of being a being a first round pick.

The Colts are a very bad team. And I'm not sure that when Luck
returns they'll be any better.

The Texans are in for a long season.

The Seahawks O line may be the worst in the league. Their defense
is still pretty good. Arron Rodgers is the best QB hands down.
And the officiating in that game was atrocious.

Don't be fooled by that Jaqs win - Defense very good but Houston QB's are Raw, look at Bortles stats and now one of the Alans is gone.

Arizona is the Same Carson Palmer Sucked and now they are in trouble with out DJ

Baltimore really surprised me that defense looks tough

San Fran Oh boy....

There are some really bad NFL teams, Jets, Indy, SF,

Titans offense was supposed to have a field day with the Oak D and Oak D pretty much dominated the 2nd half of that game. On the road vs a team with a lot of hype coming into the year.

It's just one game but if Oak's D can even be decent they are gonna be tough this year with how good their offense is.

SF opened the "Chip Kelly era" last year with a 28-0 MNF whitewash over the Rams. Then lost their next 13.

Sure, some of these teams will play all season to yesterday's form. But while the cement is mixed it isn't poured yet.

Good to see you talking sports Dave.

The Cowboys were pretty impressive as well. So were the Raiders, as noted previously

week 1 can't tell anything, just first thing you said above is true about Watt. The rest, oh yes, SF and NY Jets are in a long season. Houston need a QB that's it.

The Jaguars confirmed that Alan Robinson suffered an ACL injury in his left knee during Sunday's win over the Texans.

The wrist injury to David Johnson could keep the Cardinals' star running back out for up to 12 weeks if it requires surgery.

The Saints run defense improved but it wasnt enough because they still suck in zone coverage. The OLine was thin with Armstead out and now Strief went down it will be a problem the first few weeks. Payton's game plan was complete shit vs Minnesota. Abandoned the run game early as usual. All week the talk was AP and we used him maybe 10 times all game. 6 rushes and a couple screens that were easily sniffed out.

Harris was the 5th CB on this roster and they used him on Diggs all game. Dennis Allen is still an idiot at DC. Saints look like a shit show. We will see if they improve at home next week against the masterminds.

here's another thought, how many more games until Marvin Lewis finally gets fired? Got to be coming soon. What are they hoping for... a trip to the playoffs where Lewis is 0-7?

I like to take sports Scott. What I don't like are picks for the
sake of picks with no reasoning and then the inevitable 30 GL's
and 20 like um's that follow. As long as the criticism is constructive
it makes it even better. I am pleasantly surprised with the interaction
in the thread with no pissing contests.

I'll have to make this a weekly post.

Well I said the Steelers and Falcons were lucky so they
should win this week. I don't like either team this week.
I can see the Vikings winning straight up a Steelers and
I won't lay 6.5. As for the Falcons if I bet the game it
would be Packers ML.

I'd lay the 5 with the Chiefs and I'd lay the 13.5 with
the Seahawks. If someone put a gun to my head I'd have to
lay the 4.5 with the Bengals.

I'd lay the 7.5 with the Cardinals despite having to travel
back to back road games. If they don't want to be an afterthought
this early in the season they have to destroy the Colts.

The 2 games I'll probably play are Bears +6.5 and Chargers -4.5.
Not because I think they are the better teams but because they
have a game under their belts.

We'll see what happens.

P.S. For those of you who don't know I bleed Black and Gold.

Yeah the picks with no support threads are annoying. Unless a poster has a proven winning record over time they should explain why they like Team X or not even start the thread. There is one robot in here who gives "GL" Blowjobs to multiple posters in all the sports forums. It's annoying and likely he's FOS but I guess some thread starters appreciate it. .....Yeah, make this a weekly series for ya. Or you can click on RR's youtube links in Poly :)

You been walking through Da Hood at night again Dave?

Haven't capped Week2 NFL yet but my notes have Cincy covering at least once in 23 of their last 24 instances where they've played at least 2 straight home games.

The Bungals laid a egg. It happens. Are they a play off contender? Probably not
but they are a better team than Houston.

Houston has a problem. Savage wasn't good when he played at Pitt, what makes
anyone think he'll be good as a pro. Watson may develop but the optimum
word is may. Rookie QBs usually don't fair well their first year. You don't win many
games without a functional QB.
