South America money will come in late and give us a better price on GGG.
Canelo has short legs, and he gets around the ring like an older fighter. The odds of Canelo being able to get away from Golovkin are slim and none. Canelo has never been a mover during his career, and with the added weight that he’s put on in bulking up, he’s probably not going to be able to move at all. Golovkin looked “beatable” against Jacobs and Brook, this has people thinking that Canelo can win. Nope GGG will win
Canelo won’t last...Canelo looked VERY beatable in his fight against Liam Smith last September. If Golovkin tries the same approach in his fight with Canelo, it’ll be intriguing to see if he can succeed with that game plan. No one has ever knocked Canelo out. It would be a big feather for Golovkin to stick in his cap if he became the first guy to KO Canelo. It would likely increase the chances for Golovkin to get a rematch with Canelo. If Canelo wins, he’s likely going to move on if it’s a close win or if he takes a beating in the process of winning. Canelo’s promoters at Golden Boy won’t want his career to be shortened by fighting Golovkin 2 or 3 times.
