Despite opposition and little time, Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.,
and Bill Cassidy, R-La., proposed legislation that would do away
with many of the subsidies and mandates of the 2010 law and instead
would provide block grants to the states to help individuals pay for
health coverage.

The objective for repeal and replace was to make healthcare affordable.
I wonder what part of affordable Graham and Cassidy don't understand?

Take away subsidies and replace them with block grants.
That's like substituting your Cheerios with Rice Krispies.

Why that's just brilliant!

Yep, another government handout shuffle. More lipstick on the Obamacare pig.

This is the best these worthless RINOs can do when they control the WH, Senate and House of Representatives?

I believe Obamacare wasn't passed until 18 months into the community agitator's first term so I'm really trying to reserve judgment until the same point in Trump's term.

But man, these idiots do not make it easy.

States already have programs in place, just getting rid of the federal bureaucracy and red tape is a start, as is getting the Treasury Department out of the Health Care business

I'm not sure what they're going to do to unravel this intertwined clusterfuck, I just know it's not going to be easy.

The very first step would be for the health care industry to determine what insurance should cover, they haven't taken that first step yet.

Then the insurance industry can suggest the most feasible way to provide such coverage

Working together, people with experience in their profession can best devise a system that works. And then we try to figure out how to manage the transition.

Nobody in DC does anything properly, they're just a bunch of assholes

It was deliberately designed to be an "intertwined clusterfuck"

Leave it to politicians and bureaucrats to fuck up the world's best healthcare system.

Leftism is cancer.

Joe, I actually believe the fucking idiots thought they were doing something good, and I don't believe they could fuck something up this badly if that's what they were trying to do

You evidently think they're much smarter than I do :)

Our politicians are working overtime to stymie capitalism. If a company in State A sells
a policy for $1000 a year and a company in State B sells the same policy for $500 why
can't everyone take advantage and buy the $500 policy?

We do it with auto insurance why not health? Are we really a socialist country when it
comes to health insurance? Sure looks that way. Instead of attempting to drive down costs
we subsidize. Something has gone afoul in the pudding.
