Thursday:

Houston +5' -103 (@ Cincy)
Two teams who forgot to show up in Week 1. One was playing a Division opponent they expected to be tough. One was playing a Div opponent they expected to be easy, a hurricane, and a flood. I'll go with the team who had a real excuse for not being prepared.

the writeups:

Philly +5' -109 (@ KCy)
Kansas City didn't come alive last week at the Pats until the NEn offense bogged down with the loss of Amendola and the Pat's D went backwards with the loss of Hightower. Philly will push them while they are still basking in the glory of beating the World Champs.

Indy +7 -113 (vs Azo)
Indy is home after the most embarrassing beatdown of Week 1. Jacoby Brissette will pick up the whole team.

Jacksinville +1 -102 (vs Tenny)
The biggest surprise of Week 1 was Jacksonville rolling Houston in Texas. Not sure if they are for real or not. But I do know that they are 5-1 SU anf 6-0 ATS over the last 6 years when hosting the Titties.

New Orleans +6 -104 (vs Pats)
Brady needs his underneath slot receiver to make his downfield game successful. Edelman went out in pre 3; Mitchell went out a day before the season started; Amendola went out last week. If they have a sure handed, ballsy, underneath guy who has his timing down with Brady, I don't know who it is. A healthy Gronk could help there but Gronk looked like Frankenstein running in a straightjacket last week. After backsurgery in the offseason he just doesn't look like the Gronkmonster of old to me. And Hightower also went out last week. He is the straw the stirs the Pats Defensive drink. Frew Brees will get untracked this week while I fear that the Pats well regress. The World Champs are suddenly vulnerable.

And add another early game.

Minny +10 -118 (@ Pit)
So it looks by this line jump that Bradford is not playing. That's a big loss. But his backup is Case Keenum. For all the negativity you'll hrat about Keenum he was 3-2 SU last year when commandeering a 4 win Rams team. And lets not forget that the Minnesota calling card is Defense. 10 points? Sure. Could see a SU win here.

Be back with the later games in a few.

Forgot the writeup.

NEn / NOr Under 57 -103
Read my NOr bet writeup and add that there will be a lot of running in this game. Brady doesn't have his slot binkie, and Brees lost both starting tackles. Two of the game's marquis qbs will be handing off a lot today.

the afternoon game writeups:

LA Chargers -3' +102 (vs Mia)
Off a loss against a cross country team whose minds are swirling in a hurricane.

San Fran +14 -107 (@ Sea)
Embarrassed at home now double digit doggies to a team who couldn't score a TD in Week 1. OK Suck me in with the points.

Denver +2 (vs Dullass)
Seems like I'm really being sucked in here. I know Dallas has the bigga shot offensive names, but Denver has probably the best defense in the league and they're in their crib. Don't think I'm gonna need the points.

Monday:

Detroit +3' -105 (@ NYG)
Under 42 -105

This ain't the old screw things up, suck bad, Detroit team. They are slowly improving. This year they won they're opening game. Last year they opened the season by winning or not losing 6 of their first 7 games by the generous spread tonight. The Giants... that offense sucks. They can't run. And they can't protect Eli.

Expecting an outright win for the Lions from Michigan in a low scoring game tonight.
