If government had their way...... everyone would gamble their ass off. I mean "legally" so government can get their hands on their cut.

Gambling represents the most monstrous and easiest chunk of money that they could ever latch on to. Government officials can hire lamebrains (often their family and friends), pay them stupid high salaries....... and still have huge chunks of money left over to support their lack of being able to control costs of government. Who cares if they are crippling huge numbers of the American people in the process?

TRUE STORY...

my dad took me to the track when I was 11 ...I played 4 races....

5,6,7,8....played the 8 every race...$2.00

I killed the first 3...then...

8th I told my dad...bet it all...my dad you sure...me yes..65-1...my dad. just laughed...

I'm sure the horse is still running...

fast FORWARD..

we took my son (w/ dad) to Bonita Spring (dogs)...

my dad asked my son (10yrs old) who ya like....

my son won 6 in a row.... to funny...

later that night @ dinner my dad gave him all the $$$ ...

the smile on my son's face was so cool....

That said...

Me..my Son...and my Brother...(RIP DAD)...

If you gave my wife the winning LOTTO ticket she would lose...hahaha

Dad used too, grew up he always called the bookie...he has money in stock market and takes big risks there

I gamble on sports and I've been known to visit a casino every few months, and I've got a few bucks in the stock market

siblings cart had a tiny countertop in front of register..so everything was crammed .. he used to put a can of coca cola on the counter
and "ring it up" with every customer that had an order for more than one person.. you would be stunned how few and far between
people asked for a price breakdown when they did he would add the soda and they would say hey wait thats not mine and he would apologize.
