After the Cowboys' first loss of the season, head coach Jason Garrett placed the blame squarely on the passing game.
The Cowboys hoped to improve to 2-0 on the young season. Instead, they went to Denver and were beaten decidedly by the Broncos 42-17.
Not much went right for Dallas. Ezekiel Elliott had just eight yards rushing on nine carries. While Dak Prescott did throw two touchdown passes, he also had two interceptions, including one that was returned 103 yards by Aqib Talib. The defense allowed Trevor Siemian to throw for three touchdowns in the first half and four overall.
There were more than a few things that could be pointed to as reasons why the Cowboys were not victorious. Garrett took aim at Prescott.

It has been noted on several occasions Prescott is cautious with the ball, often preferring to take the safe option over making a risky throw down the field. However, the approach helped Prescott to a stellar rookie season and Pro Bowl nod last year. And, Dallas was 13-3 during the regular season in games he started.
Frustration was obviously high after the loss. With that said, Jason Garrett can still surely expect to be asked to elaborate on his comments throughout the upcoming week.
