Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I just figured I would post here.
I think most of us know that people lose mostly because they don't have a plan to manage their money
Most people can pick a decent percentage of winners but get caught up losing other ways.
Maybe you have 1000 and have a bad week and get down to 700 and look to make it all back by betting all or most of what you have left as opposed to grinding it out and getting it back to a positive.
Sometimes you even manage your money and can still lose. If you started with a 1000 and bet 100 a game went 15-5 and went up to 1950, you might naturally increase your bets to now lets say 200. If you had a bad week, went 2-8 your record would be 17-13(should still be profitable) but now you are down hundreds of dollars where you started. Books rely on this stuff

So, curious as to if anyone has a defined a way they use money management that actually works for them. The one I have heard before is NEVER bet more than 5% of your bankroll. If you just follow that then you should profit if you can pick a decent %

i have a pretty simple system, i limit myself to never betting more then 3K on a single outcome for one team total or side or as part of a teaser or a strait bet unless its a headge and i have plus side juice on both sides.

Bet as a handicapper, NEVER because you're just looking for the action, or chasing losses.
