Derek Carr takes a pounding for not kneeling

Not sure if this was already posted somewhere, but a local, Bay Area talk show shared a story told to them from an insider in the Raiders locker room. According to the source, similar to the movie "On Any Given sunday" (for those who remember that), because Carr stood and didn't kneel with his predominately Black offensive line, they purposely flopped on their blocks and allowed Carr to be sacked. I haven't looked up the stats, but apparently it was his worst day ever as a pro.

With that said, if anyone gets any insider info of this kind for this week's games, please share as I would love to get a 3rd home. TIA.

Tim. All we get here is Raiders 24/7 even though they won't be here
for at least 2 more years. There was no mention other than Carr did
stand. FWIW it was reported that Khalil Mack chose to stand next to
Carr with Carr placing his hand on Mack’s back. Isn't that swell?

That's bullshit. that was just speculation. Line didn't sell out on Derrek Sunday night. Hell after his 1st 2 sacks you can see Penn and KO shoving guys off of Derek.

I bet you are getting tons of talk on the Raiders (I'll be making sure I am fully aware of their schedule to make sure I'm not around on those weekends when they start playing in Vegas).

As for the rest of you, don't shoot the messenger. I'm simply passing on what I heard on the show (a syndicated show named Armstrong and Getty). And get over the herd mentality as these guys aren't exactly Liberals. Not to mention that I watched that game and the story seems very plausible. Their show is on their website if you want to hear it directly from them (they've been fairly accurate on things they've reported on in the past).

Indeed it is, but I certainly think it's plausible since I've never confused the Redskins defense with the Bears of the mid 80s

You know what Tim if we knew when a team wasn't ready to play we'd both be millionaires.
My Steelers are notorious for shitting the bed a least once a year against an inferior
team. Latest example was the Bears. I marvel at how Belichick manages to get his team
ready to play week in and week out. He is in a league of his own. I'm inclined to think it
was just one of those weeks for the Raiders.
