Yonkers, NY---Apparently, one curtain call for the dearly departed wasn’t enough.
Hugh Hefner—or, more specifically, his New Zealand-bred namesake with the ‘N’ designation—is back to try it again.

Hugh Hefner N, who made ‘posthumous’ headlines a week ago by winning the night after his human counterpart’s passing, goes for a duplicate Yonkers Raceway performance Friday night (Oct. 6th).‘Hef’ draw the pylons in the $20,000, first-race pace as he moves up the claiming ladder from $20,000 to $25,000. Jason Bartlett is again scheduled to drive for owner Keith Motusesky and trainer Doug Dilloian Jr.
Hugh Hefner N is a 9-year-old Down Under Falcon Seelster gelding (feel free to insert own punchline) who has three wins in 20 seasonal starts.
