[h=1]NFL has 'no tolerance for racial comments directed to anyone'[/h]
If it is able to identify the person who allegedly shouted a racial slur at Terrelle Pryor on Monday night, the NFL will ban that fan from future games, league spokesman Joe Lockhart said on a conference call Thursday.
<aside class="inline editorial float-r" data-behavior="article_related" style="">[h=1]Editor's Picks[/h]
  • [h=2]Redskins WR Pryor: Chiefs fan wielded N-word[/h]Redskins wide receiver Terrelle Pryor said he was called the N-word "several times" by a Chiefs fan as he headed toward the tunnel after Sunday's game in Kansas City, prompting him to use obscenities and extend a middle finger toward the fan.
  • [h=2]Chiefs' Peters caught shouting profanity at fan[/h]After Marcus Peters was caught on camera shouting profanities at a fan during Monday night's game, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he has spoken with his cornerback and "it's been addressed."

</aside>"We have no tolerance for racial comments directed to anyone," Lockhart said, according to ProFootballTalk.com, which transcribed the comments. "Those fans are not welcome to come back this week, next week, or any time."

The NFL is reviewing all aspects of the incident, "and we will report back when we have concluded that review," Lockhart said.
The Washington Redskins receiver said via Instagram Stories that he was called the N-word by a Kansas City Chiefs fan, prompting him to use obscenities as he exited the field through the tunnel after Monday night's game in Kansas City.

The postgame exchange was caught on video and replayed on TMZ.com, though mostly what is heard is someone shouting "f--- you." Pryor returned the shouts using similar language and flipped his middle finger toward the fan.

"I do apologize to my teammates and the organization," Pryor wrote. "But at some point you keep calling us The N word ... we going to start acting up. #straightlikethat."

ESPN's John Keim contributed to this report.

There had to be more than one witness, security is all over the path to the tunnel.

How do we know what Pryor is accusing the fan of is true?

Exactly, I bet he's just making that shit up to deflect from his own poor behavior in the situation.

Just like Adam Jones eaier this year at Fenway claiming he received a barrage of N words yet somehow nobody had a video. Hard to believe.

Hes been in and out of trouble since he could crawl. Hes been on 6 different teams in 6 years as a pro and was thrown out of college.

On May 31, 2011, head coach Jim Tressel resigned.[SUP][31][/SUP][SUP][32][/SUP][SUP][33][/SUP] Multiple media outlets also reported that Pryor had been driving on a license that was suspended by the State of Ohio.[SUP][34][/SUP][SUP][35][/SUP][SUP][36][/SUP][SUP][37][/SUP] He drove a Nissan 350Z to a team meeting and workout. ESPN reported that his suspension was to expire on August 18, 2011.[SUP][38][/SUP]

In a subsequent report, ESPN also alleged that Pryor made thousands of dollars autographing memorabilia for a local booster, a charge denied by Pryor's attorney.[SUP][39][/SUP]
On June 7, 2011, it was announced that Pryor had chosen to withdraw from the university.[SUP][40][/SUP]
On June 26, 2011, Pryor was banned from all contact with the university's athletic program and new incoming recruits. This caused him to become eligible for the NFL's Supplemental Draft.[SUP][41]

I Dindu nuffin!

Dem fans be raisis!

Another stellar example of how important character and ethical behavior are to the NFL! Personally I will just take his word for it. cheersgif

As long as the person who yells shit is positively identified and security handles it, everyone would agree they should be booted. No matter what, the player has to ignore it. Can't respond at all. Notify security.

Fan should be banned, if true....And his face should be splattered all over social media with the title "Racist" attached.

Problem is you need to prove who it was and if they actually said it.

Just like in the Adam Jones case here in Boston. He hears it, but not one other fan out of thousands hears it.

Adam must have some awesome ears I tell you.

If any fan used that word in Fenway Park they'd be sold out faster than those $9 beers. But to question Adam Jones makes you a racist. Funny how the world works.

Considering most of you use the n word when there are no black people around to smack you upside the head, I am not sure this is the place we will see an honest discussion.

I talk to zillions of people day in and day out. I hear the N word about once a year. Anyone who thinks whites being racist against blacks is a common occurrence is just delusional. Not in New England. I'm really getting tired of the black bullshit. Because that's exactly what it is. Bullshit.

It's 2017. If a fan was yelling the "N Word" he would have either gotten his ass whipped or would have been tossed out by security (which many of the ushers/security at stadiums are local black citizens that work the games on a regular basis). Anyone who thinks he was called the "N word" repeatedly....or even once, where other fans in the area could hear it also is a gullible fool.

This Joe Lockhart guy is going to be the biggest player in the downfall of the NFL. Him and Roger are democratic operatives still yearning for the Obama years to return.

Did you go on Twitter after Joel Ward scored the game winning goal vs Boston in the playoffs a few years ago? Never seen more Boston fans/people from NE spouting off racist comments

There's a huge difference in posting something on twitter, from the comfort of your living room/car/bedroom/office, wherever vs. standing in an NFL stadium w/ fans of all races, religions, political views, etc screaming the N word repeatedly, to the point that an NFL veteran got mad and responded. The person would have either gotten his ass kicked or had been thrown out by security after being reported by an upset fan who took issue w/ the repeated use of a racial slur.
