OT : Buffalo Cauliflower ..... Anyone try this ?

Tried it at this vegan place near me. It's fucking good, the texture is what makes it somewhat similar.

I'd never even heard of this stuff. It Definitely looks enough like a Buffalo Chicken Wing to where it would qualify as food I have to try.

It's good! Birdseye has a microwave steamer version that you can find in the grocery store frozen food section that's even good.

But I guess you can't get a slight crust on it.

I'm not sure how it's made, Wife wants to make it. So i said I would try it. But I figure I would ask first.

I had this roasted cauliflower in NOLA a couple of trips ago...at Domenica.
Entire head for $20...so good though.
Had their squid ink pasta last week that was ridiculous!

"Broil" setting on Oven, Sauced Wings (or these) beneath Broiler for not very long. Gotta keep a real close eye or they will Burn, or at the least get scorched.

squid ink is cray. gives a salty umami flavor.
I only spend big bucks on food in nola, nyc. maybe sf...i'm going there in a couple of months, but was nothing short of disappointed last time i was out there. (excellent beer scene...tho)
