Graded PSA 10 baseball cards

Have a guy I dealt with years ago tell me he has 2016 Topps Chrome Luis Severino NY Yankees AUTO GOLD /50 PSA 10 for $1000 and 2016 Topps Chrome NY Yankees Luis Severino Auto Blue /150 PSA 10 for $650. Any insight? Thanks [h=2][/h]

I've definitely seen a Luis Severino psa 10 rookie with a $1000 asking price on ebay. IMO I would never pay that kind of money for a young player. It's a crazy price! You could get a Gwynn psa 10 rookie for $540. I know the number of cards at that rating is the number one factor when determining a price, but I just can't see that card being a good ROI.

Psa grading carries more value on vintage cards, modern cards bgs grading helps more

to be fair, I believe Gold is higher than Orange, plus this one is a Refractor

I understand its not the exact same ref varience in links above, but the price jump is not going to be that drastic to make up the difference. If he goes on to win cy youngs and ws rings, it could get above $1000 and make you money, but at this time you should be able to get it for 100s less
