you could be right on the play but the data is misleading
det were dogs in both games and not expected to win
dal were huge favs over lowly vegas and couldnt win.

Good points seer. I did not factor opponents. I try to see all teams as equal to start the season or at least have less variance than the public perceives and what Vegas plays into.

Every stat is misleading because of the number of ways it can be interpreted. Omitting the above, I just see this as a Dallas win and I think they can score 4+ in this matchup and Detroit can score 2 in this matchup. I suppose I could take a page out of ‘coldweather’s book on write ups.

there is one system that i use that would be a play on dallas. they are the better team. det was supposed to be a bottom feeder.

Who said I thought they would win the conference or the cup? You are the only one that who has stated an opinion on them, which was "lowly." And the "lowly" team has come in as two sizable dogs, as well as -2.5 when they opening up their new stadium. I'd call that being shortsighted
