October 13th

HOUSTON ASTROS {D. Keuchel} -161
NEW YORK YANKEES {M. Tanaka} +156

- Houston has a better lineup and their ace on a home game where he is usually very dominant and has a 0.96 ERA in the 3 games he pitched/postseason.

- The Yankees are the big surprise of this postseason and they are in full confidence after defeating the Indians.

- Dallas Keuchel is a ground ball pitcher and the Yankees have several players as Gardner, Gregorius, Ellsbury(Not in the lineup) etc. that can reach with that kind of pitch.

- Tanaka finished strong the Regular Season after a terrible 1st half of season and played awesome against the Indians, but on the road is a different story and he has a 6.48 ERA in the Regular Season.

- Houston like I said is the better team but as well is the team with a lot of pressure playing home game and against this Yankees team that achieved already more than what they expected.

- Laying the Astros -161 to me could be very dangerous, like I said a lot of pressure on them, New York in full confidence and Tanaka if he will be able to pitch as he used on the last games, keeping the ball down, could really make this a lot harder for Houston than what should be.

- Going with the Yankees you have the line with you for sure, but you still are betting against a way better and more talented team, against a pitcher that could be very dominant and with Tanaka that you don't know really what you gonna expect on the road.

The best bet on this game is watch it and have a better idea for GAME 2.

Appreciate the write up. Can’t get a good read on these October Yankees. For the life of me I want to take the Astros but going against Yankees in 3 and 5 last series has me in the same boat as you. Just watching and seeing who grabs momentum going forward.

I feel like the Yankees are playing with as much confidence as any team in recent years and after Golf, baseball is the 2nd most cerebral of sports. Do the Astros have that swagger after sweeping the Sox? They just might.

They didnt sweep Boston. Plus imo after the stros pretty much beat them up 3 outta the last 4 games of the season,.......Boston went into that series shook and obviously not even close to being the better team. Boston played above than what they were worth, pitching over achieved and they had one of the worst 3 and 4 batter combo in the league.

Confusing with Dodgers...still battled back in game 4 but ya no doubt Yankees are a better team. I don't know how they finished with WC instead of Div title.
