Just a thought. I lived in L.A. for seven years and you can get some funky shadows between the pitcher's mound and home plate at 5:10 in the afternoon. Not quite sure what they'll be like on October 24th as opposed to an August day but still could be a factor for the first couple of innings.

Added note ......... Verlander still is a fraction of what he once was. This is the time he will get exposed whether people think my previous write up was stupid or not. Add Hill -113 $500 and dodgers tt over what I assume to be 4 another $500.

He's the best starting pitcher in baseball right now and for the last two months plus. Fraction of what he once was shoots everything you say to hell. Guy was near unhittable again tonight and has been for every start as an Astro. If Houston wins this series he will be a huge reason why

I agree with both of you just totally thought that we were dealing with a great situation with him. Obviously something has revamped the guy. I remember his fastball being in the low 90's in detroit last year and having to overcome it with more junk. The guy is throwing 97 on some pitches now but hell if charlie morton used to throw 90-91 and hit 96 now something has to be in the water there.
