This time of the year, head coaches are known to be on their way out, players and asst coaches start scrambling, wondering what will happen next year, team falls apart.

I will start with Florida, McElwain looks like a dead man. Georgia is always up for the big rivalry game and will not be looking ahead to South Carolina.

Georgia - 13.5

Who else, what other coaches? It is a little early but...

I would think UCLA is on that list and Tennessee. Maybe Nebraska. Maybe Usc—maybe not so much the coach being fired, but not much to play for (I know they have an outside shot at division but bad losses and injuries piling up).

Serbone, that's the "World's Largest Cocktail Party," Georgia couldn't give a shit who's coming up after this game, they'll do everything they can to beat the hell out of Florida.

Ha yes I know, I have a very close friend went to GA. I just meant they were not gonna save up for Auburn or somebody BIG next week or soon.

There are SO many other reasons to bet Georgia in this spot, I am just focused upon the coaching situation in this thread. It sounds like McElwain is es-ploding.

Last year Houston KNEW their coach was leaving (for other reasons) and I bet against them several games in the midst of the season though they got fired up for a big game (I think Louisville) and crushed them and the spread.

I'm all over the Dawgs in this one, I really think the Gators score Nada, Nunca, Nothing against that Dawg D. Time for Chubb to have a breakout game, not even rushing 100/game to this point. I like the play a lot.

Yes, top notch D vs a very weak ass "O", I see GA 34-40 to FLA 6-13, that bad. You need a top offense with a very good passing game to get to the Georgia D, you cannot beat them with a vanilla run game. FLA kids might give up when they are behind in the 2nd half with a coach who is almost certainly going bye bye soon.

This game has a feel similar to Auburn vs. LSU a couple weeks ago... Everyone was ready to write LSU off as the worst team in a long time, including the sucker me, dead coach and no offense and all...

That and no matter how shitty the gators have been..they just play GA tough. Maybe Kirby can end the cycle of GA shitting the bed against the gators this year but 14 is a lot of pts in this game

This late in the season, players are banged up, and Florida has so many players OUT or ??? for this game, GA is relatively healthy.

I cannot go by historic "go with the dog" in this rivalry, GA is motivated to go undefeated and then play Bama well to earn a playoff spot. I do not compare this to Auburn-LSU at all.

A "D" like Georgia's can dominate a team like FLA with a lousy offense to begin with, then decimated by suspensions & injuries. FLA always seems to get a pick 6 or fumble recovery for a score, but not this week.

We shall see.

Well that came out as expected... I think coaching situations like this are GOLD.
