With playoff implication on the line, who do you like? Line is currently at 7

I'll take PennSt since they are the better team. But........I think Penn St loses a game somewhere. If that is the case it is probably here. I will still take the better team. I also think that if Ohio St wins this game they will lose at Michigan

Urban Myers...after a bye.... 20-0 SU....16-4 ATS.

And I always preach coaching is first, then raw talents.

Hmmm....

I think the linesmakers got this line spot on, side and total. A good game to watch for the enjoyment factor. Better games out there to play for the money factor.

We're playing the Nittany Lions in the big par, +7+. Given our track record this season, might want to fade that, lol.

At first glance, I have to agree with this assessment, Heatwave.... but for the sake of Game of the week, after digging deeper under neath the rankings, I side with Urban Myers more and more... Beside the spot favors O St big time.
Of the 20 games won SU after bye, the avg margin of victory at home is crazy..... Before joining Oh st, of the 4 games playing at home it was 36..... Since Oh st, the avg of 5 wins was 28. Here we're laying a single digit...
Yes, this is against number 2 team... but there were many great teams within that span too.

Something to consider....Ohio St has played 2 teams with a winning record this year: Oklahoma(and we know what happened there) and Army.
I won't be shocked if Ohio St wins as this should be a great game....but I personally like PSU to win and (especially with the points).
Good luck to all!

I don't have or feel like looking up the trend but I believe if an undefeated team after week 5 is getting 7 or more points take the favorite. I'm not a trend player at all but last I saw this trend was like 90+% FWIW....

Best of luck on your action

Yeah, don't have the figures handy, but tried and true rule of thumb is to take a home favorite of lesser ranking. That being said, the par team is gonna roll the dice with Franklin and Company, no doubt in my mind they have the better team, so +7+ should be good.

No way they lose in the shoe with revenge on their mind, may not cover the 7 tho.
I think the Bucks win out and make the playoffs as the 2 or 3 seed.

I'll take some of that action. Buckeyes are gonna lose another down the stretch and no 2 loss team is gonna make the playoff.

Don't forget that Penn State has significant revenge on their minds also. They won the BigTen and got snubbed for the CFP by a team that they beat.

I think PSU wins straight up but minimally will cover. PSU's offense will get theirs, I think this game comes down to the PSU D vs OSU O. Can PSU stop both Barrett and Dobbins?

I lean to OSU, young talented team is maturing, coming off a bye really matters in this spot, artificial turf for home team helps their speed advantage, the OSU offense is simply better and the defense is also better than PSU, OSU has a better big game coach IMO who will find a way to take out a weapon or two of PSU.

Anyone giving the Badgers a chance in the Conference Championship game (assuming they win-out in the West) vs either Penn State or Ohio State ?....The winner of that game is a shoo-in for a play-off slot.

This, my esteemed friend, smells of a Michigan /O. State game, i.e. a field goal decides the outcome. Buckeyes are better on O, and contrary to your post, Lions are better D. Game should be a classic, but taking 7+, can't resist.
