NBA Previews for Sunday, October 30.

Denver Nuggets (3-3) at New York Knicks (2-3), Monday, 7:30 p.m. EST

Line: Nuggets -4. Total: 210 (5dimes).

Both teams have woken up with two-game winning streaks. Denver beat Atlanta and Brooklyn on the road, while the Knicks beat Brooklyn at home and Cleveland on the road. New York’s win over the Cavaliers was shocking. The Knicks dismantled Cleveland 114-95 at Quicken Loans Arena as 10.5-point dogs. New York led virtually wire to wire as they embarrassed the Cavs.

What I see here from that game is Tim Hardaway Jr. had a career-type game with 34 points, 8 assists and 4 boards. He was 5-for-10 shooting threes. Kristaps Porzingis added 32 points and 12 boards, Courtney Lee had 15 points and 10 boards, while Enes Kanter had 18 points and 2 boards. The Knicks held Cleveland to 38.3 shooting from the floor. Or did Cleveland just have a bad shooting night?

My question here is whether this Knicks performance is repeatable, especially on the back-end of a back-to-back. This is clearly a let-down spot for New York.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets had a performance against Brooklyn that looks to be repeatable. Denver had balanced scoring with 7 players in double digits. Jamal Murray scored 26 points, while Nikola Jokic added 21 points and 14 boards and Wilson Chandler added 18 points.

Despite Cleveland playing terribly recently, the Knicks 19-point win over the Cavs is still a big win for New York. This creates a let-down spot for the Knicks, while I do not believe Denver is in a let-down mode after beating two teams they are supposed to beat.

Golden State Warriors (4-3) at Los Angeles Clippers (4-1), Monday, 10:30 p.m. EST

Line: Warriors -5.5. Total: 221.5.

Golden State has owned the Clippers the past few years. The Warriors are carrying a 10-game winning streak into tonight’s contest.

Yet the Warriors are struggling out of the gate. Golden State was supposed to have the best team that they have every put on the court for the 2017-18 campaign. Most teams would be ok or even happy with a 4-3 start. However, Golden State was slated to win at least 67 games this season according to many prognosticators.

What is wrong with the Warriors?

My answer remains the same: Nothing.

The Warriors led Houston wire to wire opening night before blowing a fourth-quarter lead with Draymond Green out the entire quarter due to injury. Stephen curry and Kevin Durant were in foul trouble against Memphis on a back-ender as Curry had 4 fouls in the first half and they lost that game. Golden State let another second-half lead slip away last night at home against Detroit as turnovers were the issue. The Warriors had 25 turnovers with 14 coming in the second half. The Warriors led by 8 points after the first quarter and then committed 21 turnovers over the final three quarters. Those turnovers were the difference between winning and losing.

The Warriors will be just fine.

Record: 9-7 on the season, +$130.

Sides: 7-4
Totals: 2-1
2H: 0-2
#1 Sides: 7-6
#1 Totals: 9-4

Sides: (1) Den, (2) Orl, (3) Mem, (4) Dal, (5) Por, (6) GS, (7) Bos, (8) Min, (9) Phi.

Totals: (1) Den ov, (2) Phi ov, (3) Por un, (4) GS un, (5) Min ov, (6) Bos un, (7) Orl un, (8) Memo v, (9) Dal ov.

Note: I am mad at myself or not betting my top 2 sides yesterday. I talked about those games and then did not pull the trigger even though my Sides are heating up. I like a lot of Sides tonight but will stick with one play for the night.
