They are currently 8-1 and burning out the goal light. They are up 2-1 on the road right now. When does it come crashing down?

They haven't won since I started this thread. Damn I was really going for the "Trump effect". I want to see them succeed. They are now 8-3, still not bad.

they have a decent team, especially for an expansion. their real value is
in all the extra defensemen they have inc some in the minors that are
quite useful or marketable. In addition they have many future draft picks.
either of these asset groups are easily tradable to acquire quality players now.
or they can wait and build for the future. the original plan was to wait
for the future, but the temptation to be better now is quite alluring.

Yeah if they are at the top come deadline, I'd have to think they are going to be a major player.

imagine if they have a playoff competitive team at the trade deadline,
now they would have to be buyers rather then sellers. whatta turnaround
that would be.

Falling hard would mean no playoffs.

And I say no.

We'll see what happens.

I think they have enough talent or could easily acquire more assets to
ensure that they would make the playoffs. they probably even have
extra cap room, which is quite useful in a cap tight NHL.

Cashed them as nice +170 dogs today. First time I've backed them. I am a satisfied customer.

And they move to 9-4! I had them today too. What sucks tho is I got NHL center Ice and they are blacked out. WTF! They already black out all the bay area teams, why Vegas, we don't get that shit in Reno, We don't get Sharks either, I don't care about the Sharks but I really want to watch the Knights!

I took Toronto this time, but as a flat risk wager. I called and complained about the blackout. Hoping I get to watch it, as blacking out the Vegas market in Reno makes zero sense. Vegas is 400 miles away!

Hahaha, when I lived in Birmingham they had Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis, and New Orleans all blacked out. So frustrating.

Got the over but wanted 'em both. +180 in a shootout though, will take that all day every day.

Marc-Andre Fleury and Oscar Dansk are both out for Vegas. I'm gonna ride the hotter team with Winnipeg.
