Every week there is a healthy amount of bad coaching in the NFL but at this point you almost wonder if he is actively sabotaging. Made a colossal mistake in every single loss they've had this year besides the KC game.
week 1: Starts Savage over Watson.
week 3:Kicks FG instead of going on 4th and 1 and gives the ball back to TOM BRADY to drive for a game winning TD.
week 7: They got a lead with like 2:30 left in the 4th, don't remember the exact amount of time. Offense has been humming all day, Watson on fire. D getting shredded by Wilson. Runs 3x and punts it back to Seattle. Seattle effortlessly scores in about 5 plays.
week 8: Not calling timeout with 33 seconds left and thus they have to hurry the last 4 plays.
This team sucks without Watson/Watt/Mercilus now so it's pretty moot at this point but goddamn. Surprised one of the players or other coaches hasn't taken a swing.

These guys play conservative because you get less criticism. In this NFL....You have to let your QB play and throw and not really limit him because he is a rookie or a backup. If the guy you are playing isn't good enough being real conservative does nothing for you. Maybe if you have a great defense a nd great running game......but even then most likely if you win the QB was good enough you could have let him play. They don't want to go for it on 4th down......theyaren't creative offensively and defensively. Jjst a way to keep your job a few extra years and cash the checks. Take too many "risks" and you get fired
You guys are all wrong. He was labeled a qb master so that's what he is. I watched Watson go up and down the field on Alabama twice yet you decided to start Tom F Savage. Behind Aaron Rodgers, Watson was the most important player to his team. The Texans may not win another game this year.
