I am riding Seattle -260 moneyline. Risking 3,500 on bovada.

I think there is value here because the seahawks have the better roster, which will be magnified on the short week.Arizona pulled out an ugly win last Sunday in a game where AP had 37 carries against the 49ers. The 32 year old set the season mark for most carries in a game and has become the focal point of the offense. I'm banking that he will be gassed and ineffective against the tough Seattle D. That leaves the cards with the career 50% passer Drew Stanton.

Seattle has won 3 in a row @ AZ, excluding last years 6-6 tie. They play well in AZ and I'm riding them on TNF, a game I will be attending . Baronman is a p_ _ _ _

Seattle has a lot of injuries and banged up players.
Arizona is healthiest they’ve been all year I think.

I would say that healthy is an overstatement when your starting quarterback, running back and left guard are all out. AP has been running nicely but let's be serious he just had 37 carries 4 days ago and will likely need to do the same this week for the cards to have a chance. Stanton is nothing special and I just don't see how the Cardinals can score 10 points in this game.

Arizona also has the single oldest roster in the entire league. Not a good recipe on a short week against tough divisional foe.

Extra tid bit: the cards are 4-4 and this is what their season has looked like so far
L-W-L-W-L-W-L-W..... it's all systems go on Seattle money line

Its a tough spot for both teams. Seattle are the better team and Cardinals may decide to mail it in if the get behind early. I expect either close win to Cards or blowout to Seattle. Weighted towards the blowout.

After the play call Carroll made in SB vs NE I don't feel there is ever value on Seattle... head coach is incompetent & proved it at the most crucial moment. I wish you nothing but the best but I honestly feel that putting money on seattle should always be avoided until they have a new head coach.

Disagree.
Seattle has 18 on the injury list, AZ 8.
Palmer is so old and inconsistent that he is not a big loss especially against a team like Seattle, Stanton is not top notch at all but he's ok. Losing RB Johnson was a big blow, he was an impact player. G Iupati is a loss but the team has adjusted. AZ is actually a lot healthier than they have been in a long time this year. Seattle has lost some impact players (Thomas) and is dinged all over. They picked up a good OL from Houston, their OL was one of the worst in the NFL to begin with and had lost 3 to injuries. A short week with dinged players, a long road trip from Seattle to Phoenix favors AZ.
I do not look at totals but I think points will be at a premium, Seattle FG kicker is a mess, AZ is 4-4 needs a win more than Seattle, AZ needs Pederson to run well and eat clock but I do not think he will do very well, natural turf favors AZ.
I am not thrilled about this game but AZ defense + 6 points at home TNF looks like the play.

Carroll is 74-57 ATS (+11.3 Units) in all games as the coach of SEATTLE.
The average score was SEATTLE 23.8, OPPONENT 18.5

I guess you were on Seattle in the SB? Fact over emotion

FYI - The Call was the right call - Seattle back then like now could not run the ball with Marshawn in shortage yard he had been stopped on 1 yard plays 4 out of 5 times that year. Everyone thought they were going to run so the element of surprise was in their favor. Butler made a great play and it turns out the rookie was no flash in the pan.

When you posted this I was thinking pretty much the same thing. I should have posted that if you liked ARI wait until game time as I felt you'd be able to get 7 with Stanton in and more money coming in on SEA for -6. Sure enough - glad I waited. I don't see Stanton as being too big of a downgrade if any. I won't have much money on this one myself, good luck to the OP with his bet. I'll be on ARI small for +7. Taking the dog and the points in a division rivalry for a touchdown makes a lot of sense. From a ML perspective, I'd imagine seattle would have to be the bet with the occasional upset from the cards. Good luck guys.

I agree that points will be at a premium but I'd be careful giving AZ the kicking advantage. Blair Walsh is coming off a bad game but is still statistically having the better season than AZ K Phil Dawson. In fact, Phil Dawson has now missed 6 fg's in 8 games so far this year. Yuck

I lean Zona for game, but probably no play for me. I may make a 2nd half play -- SEA can't score in FH for some reason. It is really remarkable how slow they start, and how fast they finish.

Folks, I went with Seattle -6, small. They had double the yards against Skins, just screwed things up. AZ struggled against the 49ers.
I can't see Peterson running successfully against Seattle, and even without Thomas, I cannot see AZ throwing effectively.
Seattle off a loss makes no mistakes, they play hard when they have to and get caught napping here and there (like last week). They will unleash Wilson a bit earlier than usual to nail this one.
I fear some of the Seattle dinged players won't finish... hard to know how an ankle will hold up.
Still a low scoring game but I think Seattle will snuff them out 23/27 to 10-14, something like that. Sorry for the flip flop. SMALL!

Sorry to all the AZ backers... I love the cardinals and have had season tickets for years.... BUT - I laid everything out for you in this thread and literally every single thing I said played out to a T.

I'll be going to the store tomorrow and will be using this easy money to buy some prime filets to throw on my grill. Filets are for winners only.
