NFL Boycott - Veterans Day Weekend

I will be not be watching, betting, listening or posting thread on Rx sports forum or other forums that I post for NFL games on November 12th in solidarity with veterans around the country, as football players have continued to disrespect the national anthem, the American flag, and everything our nation stands for. I love football, but I love our flag more.

IMO.......if you wanna take a stand cut football out of your life for good....otherwise this is essentially you virtue signaling to show how much you care about America/flag without really giving anything up. Do what you want and I have no issue with it. I do enjoy your posts whether I agree with your picks or not. I just don't understand it. I personally don't care for most of these whining players...but fuck all if I am going to stop watching. I watch because I bet and it entertains me. When fans stop going to the game to prove a point I would stand with them. Until then I don't think it makes a difference since no one is truly making a stand. And if it isn't making a difference why hurt myself?

When you say "in solidarity with veterans" you do realize that there are plenty of veterans that support people's right to freely express themselves in a peaceful manner. That's what they fought for: Our freedom and Constitutional rights as citizens of this great country.

i never understood why it matters if someone kneels or stands during the anthem. the announcers are sitting in the booth breaking down the game while the anthem is going, you're sitting on your couch yelling at your wife or popping open a brew, but the players, the players!! they must stand!!!!
