I tend to believe the accusations against directors and actors. In large part because the accused have admitted such in one fashion or another, there are also eyewitnesses that can collaborate some accounts and it's always thought to be an industry standard. The casting couch

I'm less likely to believe accusations from decades ago without any real evidence and can very likely be politically motivated, especially in today's political climate. The swamp is getting exposed, and their ugliness is front and center for all of us to see.
