West Virginia Mountaineers -6.5 (-110), 1 unit:
Tough spot for the Aggies with the suspensions, traveling halfway across the world to face Press Virginia.

North Carolina Tar Heels -16 (-110), 1 unit: Panthers are still surviving on name recognition. We're destroyed in a scrimmage by Wisconsin and don't have the athletes to match up.

Yale Bulldogs +8 (-110), 1 unit: Wrong team favored here. Bulldogs are more experienced and will have the two best players on the floor.

Navy Midshipmen -4 (-110), 1 unit: A very experienced, disciplined Midshipmen squad gets to host a Panthers team that is a total rebuild with what I consider to be not a great coach. Chance for a mid-major to get a name win in their opener.

UNCG Spartans +17 (-110), 1 unit: A lot of new faces for the Cavaliers and no true point guard. The Spartans have the talent to shoot over the pack line D and keep it close.

Mercer Bears +7.5 (-110), 1 unit: Bears return all 5 starters and are a very experienced team. Knights have talent but have never been an offensive force. Expect a low scoring game that comes down to the last few possessions.

Richmond Spiders -3 (-110), 1 unit:
Getting a little value since the Spiders laid a turd in their first game. Of note, they battled back when they could have folded. It’s a young team that likely got their first game nerves out of the way. Look for a close low scoring game with the home team pulling away at the end.

Well that was never close. On to the next games.

Minnesota Golden Gophers +2 (-110), 1 unit:
The Gophers are one of my F4 sleepers this year. They're experienced, deep and can play a lot of different styles. It also pains and shocks me to say it but I believe they have a coaching advantage also.

Pittsburgh Panthers -2.5 (-110), 1 unit: Value here with the Panthers since stunk at Navy. First of all, Navy is a tough experienced team. Second, while I like the Grizzlies the talent gap between these two teams is huge. I don't expect Pitt to win a lot of games this year. They have a chance to win one tonight and I expect maximum effort.

Belmont Bruins +3.5 (-110), 1 unit:
Another chance at value due to their collapse at Washington. This is a well coached team getting a home game against big brother. They have a strong backcourt and I doubt Fisher-Davis plays tonight and if he does I can't see him at full strength. Happy to grab the points in this one.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights -13 (-110), 1 unit:
A team finally trending in the right direction with hopes of making some type of post season tournament has to win games like this. The Vikings are young and have a small front court that is not well equipped to deal with the Scarlet Knights.

Michigan State Spartans +1.5 (-110), 1 unit: Experience and toughness versus athleticism and youth. At this point in the season on a neutral court I'll take experience and toughness.

Arizona State Sun Devils -1 (-110), 1 unit:
The Aztecs have promised to play slightly more up tempo under Coach Dutcher but this is their first chance to do so against a real opponent. The Sun Devils finally have some size to put out on the court and while it sounds crazy this early in the year they are considering this a huge game. Hurley wants to get this program turned around and I expect to see the home team come away with a win.

Maryland Terrapins -4.5 (-110), 1 unit:
Trimble leaving is addition by subtraction. This is a versatile, deep Terrapins team that won't watch the air being dribbled out of the ball for 25 seconds per possession. First real big game for the Bulldogs coach in a tough environment.

Niagara Purple Eagles +20 (-110), 1 unit:
Quick turnaround for the Golden Gophers off a huge win. Purple Eagles are a very experienced team and I expect them to hang around as long as they can minimize the damage on the offensive glass.

St. John's Red Storm -6.5 (-110), 1 unit:
Love the backcourt for this team and it gives them a massive advantage over an inexperienced Cornhusker squad that has always been much better at home than on the road.

Providence Friars -8 (-110), 1 unit:
Friars undervalued here due to their second half meltdown against Minnesota. This is a tough, experienced team that should handle a young team traveling across the country and playing in the Garden.
