Awesome Buster. :toast: So thankful for this post and that not just did You support them but that you Share. With others the need to do so. :toast:

The Industry has looked for awhile for a Lead Vocalist with the actual "gift" that Robert Plant had i.e. The Spirit that is so so elusive. Kids got the Range, the intonation, at moments its like Born Again.

Might Be. I just hope he can handle what comes, that they can Write whats possible and that he does grow his hair out.

The Vocalist, the Bass Player & The Guitarist are all Brothers. They're from Michigan.

Detroit.

Wanna get on an interesting ride ya''ll? from the kinda sorta 'start"?

Get On Board.

Compare them to 'Zep though to their faces and they will whoop your ass. Grouply.

Frenzy.

Don't do that.

First 2 minutes sounds like Zep.

If they sound like Zep, they may climb a step.

then they shouldn't try to be EXACTLY like them. vocalist can't even do a single note without imitating Plant. what a joke

Plant is on record praising them,so if it don't bother him it should not bother you...And if it does simply do not support them...This is the way the world should work...Not very hard to figure out...

if i want to buy a zeppelin record there's about 20 of them to choose from. not buying this greta garbage wannabe bullshit

btw, didn't know plant was still alive...he's probably as surprised as me

if you want to come on here and pimp some wannabe Zeps then you should accept that not everyone will respond with gratitude and admiration. these guys blow

Robert Plant Calls Out Greta Van Fleet for Not Admitting Zeppelin Influence

While Robert Plant is clearly amused and flattered by the sound of Michigan-based throwback rockers Greta Van Fleet, he's seems more than a little miffed that the band continues to shy away from its obvious Led Zeppelin influence.

Instrumentally, Greta Van Fleet is similar enough to Zeppelin, but singer Josh Kiszka's vocals really put it over the top. Kiszka would make for a premium Zep tribute act, and Plant is a little confused as to why the band seems to keep dodging the comparison.

"I hate him," Plant joked to The Project Exclusive before adding regarding Kiszka's voice. "And he borrowed it from somebody I know very well. But what are you going to do? It's okay."

Plant was then asked if he had ever met Greta Van Fleet or if Kiszka had tried to meet him.

"No, I mean, at least he's got a bit of star 'cause he says he based his whole style on Aerosmith," Plant said while scoffing and rolling his eyes.

Kiszka certainly hasn't readily named Plant as an influence. And if he does indeed claim Steven Tyler has more to do with his vocal style than Plant, he's not convincing anyone.
