Yep......With Miami undefeated and Notre Dame trying to get back to National prominence; They should go-at-it pretty good.

If Miami beat ND, they are legit.

IF it was 60 degrees I would bet the farm on ND.
But it will be 80 at kickoff.
Night game but hot and humid this really will affect ND in the 2nd half. Sure hydrate but it cannot change the physiology in a few days, the kids will falter, loss of electrolytes. Just a matter of how much.
Maybe ND can be up three TDs and hang on. Maybe they will not be that affected that much but probably will be 1/3 step slow by middle of last half.

Great post. I was kind of putting that into capping the game. I bet Irish-1 1h yesterday and am trying to decide whether to bet canes +3.5 or wait until 2h.

When comparing the team’s stats a few things that stood out were Miami being very weak converting on 3rd downs and low time of possession. Canes also have a strong punt return team.

Because they usually jump out to early leads, Irish really haven’t been forced to throw a lot which may contribute to them having such poor passing numbers. They do move the chains consistently behind a dominant OL. Their pass defense gives up just under 300 ypg while protecting big leads so numbers a little misleading.

Miami had played 4 close games in a row before beating VT last week. Very balanced team that makes plays when needed. I don’t see them getting rattled even if they fall behind by a few scores.

Hope we get a great close game. Gl to all.
