I`ll put them #1.....9-0 team with a blowout win against the #3 team last night.....They earned it.

1-Miami
2-Alabama
3-Oklahoma
4-Clemson

1. Alabama
2. Oklahoma
3. Clemson
4. Miami

5. Wisconsin
6. Auburn
7. Georgia

Odd as it may sound, Bama has probably already qualified, even with loss to Auburn.. And another oddity, SEC should get 2 in, if Bama does not win out...

If Wisconsin and Oklahoma win out , that could hold the SEC to one team but I think Wiscy loses to Mich or Ohio St and this will give the SEC 2 teams in..

The likeliest of events is that Bama wins the Iron Bowl (eliminating Auburn) and then the SECCG (eliminating UGA), and the SEC only gets one.

In other words, the only way the SEC gets 2 in is if Bama loses.

So the other scenarios may be moot.

Everyone is assuming Auburn can win their way in, but I feel like Wisconsin can put a monkey wrench in that plan.

Let's say Auburn beats Bama and then Georgia again.
Oklahoma wins out.
Clemson wins out, including beating Miami in the ACCCG.
Wisconsin wins out.

Oklahoma, Clemson, Wisconsin would 100% be in

A 2-loss Auburn team would have to leapfrog a 1-loss Bama team. I don't know about that, unless they completely beat them down in the iron bowl.

Blowing a 20 point lead @LSU might really come back to haunt them.

i like the 4, you open it to 8 i think the debate gets worse plus it lowers the value of the regular season. at 8 there are still 10 teams that could have a shot. teams like okla state, penn state and others that just need to be gone. college football is great because every game on the schedule matters, no other sport has that. you expand and you lose part of it
