I know the last 2 weeks they've beaten up on some pretty average teams that also had some injuries, but heck they can only beat who lines up and with 9 games down we have a fair sample size....I actually could see their Defense improving in the 2nd half of the season, if the offense keeps putting up numbers who knows....

I took a bit of 40/1 about them, but they still look ok at 17/1, big game @min

Thanks, I tend to play more futures and then start playingweekly picks once we get to the playoffs…I’ve just found over the years a win alot more in the playoffs than regular season….the futures I posted at the startof this year are not looking too great but at least when taking long odds youdon’t do as much damage, still a slim chance with Titans or Atl….speaking ofwhich I know Atl beat Dallas with no Zeke but I feel they may have just turnedthe corner, I like their chances next week @ seattle as underdogs and I I’veseen worse 25/1 bets than them if they are starting to get their mojo back.

i think with the inj to the seahawks they are in the discussion. the most impressive victory for me on the day was the saints. seems they have
both sides of the field clicking.

Rams can.go really far.. Eagles are good but they aren't that dominant.. I'm picking Rams against my Vikes. I Right now give edge to Saints and Eagles as being the tip 2 in NYC but Rams can play with them

The Rams may not even win their own division. Pump the brakes there purple.

Rams can easily wind up 10-6 or 11-5 if they stay healthy enough. They coulda shoulda woulda beat Seattle earlier, it was a weird game.

Sure the schedule gets tougher. This week at Minny should be revealing. I like the Rams + 2.

Rams are very well balanced.

A KEY is the offense, offense is more important these days, no more "defense wins championships". Sure good D matters but these days you need to be able to throw the 20-30 yard ball to multiple receivers and the Rams can do that and also run the ball with a top RB like Gurley. OL is finally fixed after getting rid of pint sized muttonhead coach Fisher and his 60's running game.

The KID is managing the offense, they look like NE sometimes, and old man Phillips the D.

BUT at this point you have to look at Philly and NO as being a bit better in the NFC. Minny can beat the Rams this week in Minny, that will be a good game, but overall I rank Rams ahead of Minny at this point.

tatistically they beat the seahawks but that is the diff playing a good defensive team rather than the cupcakes they have been feasting on. bottom line is they couldnt read the defense and they lacked finish. saints are heads above the rams
for that reason i lean minny over rams

But isn't Vegas telling us something by making Minny only a 2 pt fav? Yes Vegas knows Rams are an attractive team so they do not want to give them 4-5 points.

Sure Rams SOS is 28, Minny is 18, but how has Minny D done against elite passing teams? Not so hot (after beating NO at home opening game), lost to Pitt allowed 29, lost to Detroit, beat GB after knocking out Rodgers, and allowed 30 yesterday to Skins. I consider Rams to be a top 10 "O" and Goff a top 6 QB including SOS factors. And Rams D is in the top 5, actually statistically better than Minny including SOS.

It will be a good game.

IF I take Rams, it will be small.

It will be interesting to see how the Rams do in hostile environment against a top D on artificial turf.

It's been true since the inception of the first Super Bowl and will never change. Only two things win championships, a good running game and defense. Down 28-3 last year, NE can't come back without playing D. Denver against Carolina and on and on. This will never ever change.

What year is this?

Are you saying NE won last year with defense and a running game?

Think.

NE could not have come back in the Super Bowl with a running game.

Defense counts, of course, but a team like Balty years ago with a ca ca QB (Dilfer?) that won the Super Bowl with defense only, ain't gonna happen.
DBs have mastered the art of cheating, a quick pop with one hand, grabbing one wrist (etc) and you need a top strong armed accurate QB and passing offense to win.

joe public loves teams that pile the points on and can score
is why joe public loved denver over seattle in the sb
what line would u make it to get balanced action?
min -4? there would be too much on the rams
i think -2 is fair

HA that is what I said if it was -4 people would jump on the Rams.
I am not arguing but, then, is Vegas trying to get you to take Minny only -2, at home, on a roll, good D, offense playing well.
I do not handicap that way, I go with a team's track record/production (or lack of same), matchups, offense, defense, QB, injuries, coach, situation, motivation, weather... but in this spot since we are talking about it...
Yes, -2 is a good line. Good luck you are a damn good capper.

Side topic, but I actually like Saints chance more than Rams...had them at +1300 to win NFC. After the first 2 games with young defense, they had clammed down on opponents and winning 7 straight. They no longer rely on Brees to win shootouts.
Defense, running game, great QB... A potent combination
