I think this was on, literally, the same day Mike Pence was saying "nothing could be further from the truthe!" when asked if there was any connection with Wikileaks.

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump Jr. has released exchanges he had with the WikiLeaks Twitter account via direct messages during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump Jr. tweeted the exchange shortly after The Atlantic first reported on the correspondence, writing: "Here is the entire chain of messages with @wikileaks (with my whopping 3 responses) which one of the congressional committees has chosen to selectively leak. How ironic!"
According to the released messages, WikiLeaks reached out to President Donald Trump's adult son just before midnight on September 20, 2016, regarding a PAC-funded, anti-Trump website.
The New York Times reported in July 2016 that US intelligence agencies believed that Russia was behind the Democratic National Committee hacking.

On October 7, 2016, the intelligence community publicly announced that US intelligence officials have assessed "with high confidence" that Russian intelligence hacked the DNC and Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, and then subsequently provided internal materials obtained through the hacks to WikiLeaks so they could be publicly released.

A source familiar with the matter told CNN that Congress has had the documents for a while, and Trump Jr. was briefly asked about the exchanges during a closed-door interview he had with the Senate judiciary committee in September 2017.
Although the messages are predominantly one-sided, according to The Atlantic, they were turned over to congressional investigators by Trump Jr.'s lawyers.
Alan Futerfas, an attorney for Trump Jr., said in a statement provided to the Atlantic, "Putting aside the question as to why or by whom such documents, provided to Congress under promises of confidentiality, have been selectively leaked, we can say with confidence that we have no concerns about these documents and any questions raised about them have been easily answered in the appropriate forum."

Trump Jr. responded to two of the messages initiated by WikiLeaks, the one sent on September 21, 2016, and then again on October 3, 2016.
In the October 3 exchange, the WikiLeaks Twitter account sent a message to Trump Jr. that said: "Hiya, it'd be great if you guys could comment on/push this story," and proceeded to link to a quote from Hillary Clinton suggesting a drone strike against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, according to the messages shared by Trump Jr.
"Already did that earlier today," Trump Jr. wrote back. "It's amazing what she can get away with."
Trump Jr. then proceeded to inquire about a "Wednesday leak."
"What's behind this Wednesday leak I keep reading about?" he wrote, according to The Atlantic.
This communication came days before the official intelligence community assessment that it thought Russia was behind the DNC hacks and that it was disseminating information through WikiLeaks and Guccifer 2.0.
Also on October 7, 2016, WikiLeaks began releasing Podesta's emails.
The news comes amid several investigations into possible links between the Trump campaign and Russia. Trump Jr. faced scrutiny after it was revealed he agreed to meet with a Russian attorney who was promising "dirt" on Clinton. That meeting, in June 2016 at Trump Tower, included Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort.

So WikiLeaks in now Russia?

And what, exactly did Donald Trump Jr do to advance Russia's interest in the election.

By the way, has anyone been able to identify exactly what those Russian interests were?

Anyone with a semblance of a brain would know that the Russians would want to continue to do business with the bimbo who gave them the reset button, who sold them 20% of our uranium, and who watched and did nothing as Russia usurped land in the Ukraine and went into the Middle East and cuddled up with Assad.

Donald Trump the wildcard tough guy - sire that's the guy they wanted to see in the White House.

You fools are so braindead and incapable of simple thought leading to simple conclusions, and your flock have no brains.

First of all, wtf does "So WikiLeaks in now Russia?" mean, you ignorant prick? Secondly, better double up on the Meds, Short Eyes, you posted the exact same thing, not a minute or two apart, which, probably, most of us have done when uncertain if the posting went through, but six minutes apart. Senile putz...

What happened to not wanting to get into a "back and forth?" You obviously lied about that, and anybody who can't see the connection between the Trump family(who bragged years before Twittler even ran for office that they got much of their financing from Russian) and Russia is either a nitwit, has their head shoved way up their ass, or both.

"Russian Fingerprints" deliberately placed. Efforts to forge perceived association to WikiLeaks.

Guccifer 2.0 shown as most likely operating within US timezones based on email timestamps, archive timestamps, Twitter activity and WordPress activity.

There is a difference between independently verifiable evidence and the activity somebody claims to have engaged in or that can be fabricated in an effort to misdirect and masquerade as someone they're not. - None of Guccifer2.0's claims of hacking were independently verifiable and several were debunked by ThreatConnect. - There is nothing demonstrating Guccifer2.0 was really a hacker.

The "evidence" that he's Russian, should be understood in the following context:

There are individuals, who, in reality, now have a much higher likelihood of being linked to Guccifer2.0 than anyone in Russia.

The intention of the article linked to below and here is to inform readers extensively about everything there is to know about Guccifer2.0 and from that, be armed with enough information to give motive and means the regard they deserve.

To understand who Guccifer2.0 could possibly be - it is imperative to understand WHAT Guccifer2.0 was.

What did he do? What did he say? Are his claims now confirmed, debunked or yet to be verified? What were the results of his actions?

What do any lies told and the likelihood of them being debunked or remaining secret really imply about his intent?

Was there anything misreported or omitted that may have been relevant?

The best way to get a clear picture of how incidents relate to each other and recognize suspect timing is to use a timeline - The timeline that begins this journey to Truth via Impartial Non-Partisan, completely Objective examination was built using references to every unique piece of information directly relevant to Guccifer 2.0 that I could find on public record (no matter whose narrative it supported - as should be fairly clear).

Do you ever take a break from being a moron? He isn't just the son of the President, he has obviously had a lot of contact with the Russians, bragged years ago about the entire family getting extensive financing from the Russians, attended-no, arranged-the infamous meeting with them in June, and, oh, yes, testified under oath(and, as stupidly and as clumsily as he lies-like somebody else I know-I'd be willing to bet that he perjured himself-indeed, he has already criticized Congress for leaking this(which prompted HIM to put it out just ahead of that). Has Takei done any of this? No? Then, STFU, you stupid bastard. And if the thread bugs you so much, PASS IT ON BY, STUPID, STALKING SCUMBAG...^^:)Loser!@#0azzkick(&^:Countdown:madasshol:trx-smly0:bigfinger:fckmad:

Fancy Bear is a cyber espionage group. Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike has said with a medium level of confidence that it is associated with the Russian military intelligence agency GRU.

APT = Advanced Persistent Threat. A set of stealthy and continuous computer hacking processes, often orchestrated by a person or persons targeting a specific entity. An APT usually targets either private organizations, states or both for business or political motives.

In his own tweets, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said the group's messages were all part of its promotional efforts.

WikiLeaks can be very effective at convincing even high profile people that it is their interest to promote links to its publications. 3/

WikiLeaks has such chutzpah that it allegedly tried to convince Trump Jr to leak his father's tax returns & his own "Russian lawyer meeting" emails (he did). WikiLeaks appears to beguile some people into transparency by convincing them that it is in their interest. 4/

"WikiLeaks appears to beguile some people into transparency by convincing them that it is in their interest," he tweeted.

The direct messages had been turned over to congressional committees investigating Russian intervention in the 2016 election and if there were any links to Mr Trump's campaign.

In a statement, Mr Trump Jr.'s lawyer said thousands of documents had been turned over to the committees.

I've posted access to all the information you need (and more, in fact) in posts 6 & 9 that one would require to gain understanding about the willful deception that has, and still is, being perpetrated about Russians, WikiLeaks, The DNC Hacks, John Poedesta's eMail Releases and the True Nature of Relationship between these things. Will you devote time to locating Truth via posts 6 & 9 ?

If You genuinely care about Truth, and Accuracy in what you post (and say) (and Believe) you will use whats been presented. If Instead you do not in fact care in the least about Truth you will continue to post mistruth about WikiLeaks being a Russian Pawn, Tool, Front....whatever of those words or similar.

WikiLeaks & Assange Serve Only Two Masters: Truth & A Search for Peace On Earth.

Post about WikiLeaks being Russia ever again, after the info thats been made available to you via Posts 6 & 9 and you will PROVE that you are a Mere Shill. A ShareBlue Puppet.

ShariaBlue....or all of thee above.
